The first signs of seeds sprouting has begun. We have spotted two little sprouts popping out of the ground and we cant wait for more to pop up! After we planted our seeds there was another frost, which we hadn’t anticipated, so we were a bit worried it would affect the seeds ability to sprout. So, when we went to check the garden today we were pleasnatly surprised to see that the sprouts were beginning to come up.

In the picture below you can see that the sprouting seed is very small in comparison to the size of the garden, as a matter of fact, it is almost impossible to see in the picture below! But nonetheless, it is still exciting to see something start to grow! Now it is time to play spot the budding seed!

Below is an image that is a bit closer up so you can see the budding leaves a bit more clearly. These are our carrots starting to grow. In our house we love carrots so we are excited to start a continuous harvest of carrots so we can eat fresh carrots from the garden often!

In addition to being excited for our vegitable garden to slowly start growing, I had some fun adding my Bitmoji into these pictures and adding some clipart and a bit of drawing. If you are interested in creating your own avitar with Bitmoji check it out here! But I will warn you, it is a lot of fun and you can loose many hours designing and choosing which Bitmoji you want to send to people! Have fun but dont say I didn’t warn you!

Okay, so back to my garden! This semester is quickly coming to an end so I wanted to do this wrap up post, but know that the project will live on and I will likely update you all on the progress of the garden! It is early in the season so I wont be enjoying the fruits of my labour for a little while, but I am excited for the day I can serve my family delicous vegetables that my daughter and I grew in our own garden!
